University of North Texas

Dr. Warren Burggren
Our lab focuses on the developmental phenotypic plasticity exhibited by physiology and morphology in animals. Our lab especializes in respirometry and blood micro pressure measurements.

Dr. Ed Dzialowski
Our lab focuses on the development of endothermy and the cardiovascular and respiratory systems in precocial and altricial birds.

Dr. Ione Hunt von Herbing
Our lab focuses on studying systems across several countries and many different habitats, allowing to conduct empirical research, address questions, and find important solutions to the applied aspects of fish biology.

Dr. Dane Crossley
Our lab focuses on the plasticity of developmental cardiovascular physiology in vertebrates and the differences in cardiovascular maturation between species during embryonic development.

Dr. Kelly Reyna
Our lab focuses on game bird ecology, physiology, and population dynamics.

Dr. Pamela Padilla
Our lab focuses on understanding how organisms respond to and survive environmentlal stress. We are particularly interested in identifying the molecular mechanisms involved with hypometabolic states and how diet and genotype influences stress responses. Our lab takes a genetic and cellular approach for studying phenomena that is relevant to human health issues (oxygen deprivation, diabetes, obesity).

Dr. Matt Watson
Our lab incorporates elements of physiological ecology, evolutionary ecology, and biogeography to better understand biological patterns and processes. Along with standard field and laboratory techniques, we use bomb calorimetry and GIS technology to test physiological and evolutionary hypotheses on a spatial scale.

University of Indianapolis

Dr. Kevin Gribbins
Our lab focuses on studying the reproductive anatomy and histology of male reproductive systems in reptiles and amphibians. This lab especializes in histology and Electron Microscopy.
